Wine Tasting Etiquette on a date?

good question,
i don’t think i know the proper answer for this but i will answer with what i would do and have done when i worked at various 4-5 star restaurant’s,
when i am out with a lady at dinner i always let the lady try the wine first then I ask if its ok and ask the waiter to pour a little in my glass even if its not to my taste i always say "good choice, nice wine" if the lady likes the wine, i have seen this alot from when i was a waiter.
After you have both tasted the wine make sure the waiter pours the ladies glass first then yours and enjoy the meal
